The Reduced Tillage BMP CHALLENGE provides a risk-free opportunity for corn farmers to reduce tillage - cutting fuel, time and equipment costs and protecting soil from erosion. No till, strip till, ridge till and other reduced tillage approaches are eligible.

AMERICAN FARMLAND TRUST AWARDED $100,000 FOR BMP CHALLENGE IN NEW YORK
American Farmland Trust (AFT) has been awarded a grant of $100,000 over two years from the William E. and Maude S. Pritchard Charitable Trust to launch our BMP Project with sweet corn growers in Suffolk County, Long Island. The project will be implemented in collaboration between Cornell University's Cooperative Extension division, Agflex Inc. and American Farmland Trust.
